Polls of the County
An act of 1696 designed to prevent electoral fraud also authorised the publication of copies of the results of polls for the election of Knights of the Shire and Members of Parliament. The right to vote was the privilege largely of landowners and those who rented property of a sufficient value. You may or may not find your ancestor here.

I have compiled lists of those born in Little/Great Snoring in each census from 1851 to 1911 who are living outside Norfolk. [It was not possible to do so for 1841 since birthplace was not given on the census.]

The Pitfalls of Transcription:
Each page of the parish registers presents a new challenge. The handwriting changes from legible and clear to completely illegible on darkened stained pages with print-through.
Handwriting styles change over the years. Some letters in the 16th century are almost unrecognisable.
